Railway Ballast Regulator Blade

The Railway Ballast Regulator Blade is an innovative attachment custom-built for railway maintenance, compatible with 8–9 ton, 10–12 ton, 13–15 ton and 17–18 ton full-series hi-rail excavators. It efficiently levels and shapes the ballast bed underneath rails to stabilize track structure and guarantee safe train operation.

By precisely distributing ballast gravel evenly across sleepers and slopes, it prolongs the service life of railway lines and cuts long-term maintenance expenses. Constructed with thick wear-resistant steel plates, its hydraulically controlled side wings expand and contract freely. Together with the multi-angle lifting and 360° swing boom of excavators, it delivers accurate shaping on straight tracks, curves, turnouts and narrow platform edges.

User-friendly and highly versatile, it fits multiple excavator platforms perfectly, ideal for daily track renovation of all types of railways, light rails and industrial sidings. Equipped with universal quick hitch, it can be rapidly interchanged with ballast tampers, sleeper changers, screening buckets and other maintenance attachments to complete multiple track maintenance procedures with one single machine.
